How to Get Coins Fast in EA FC 26 Ultimate Team

When it comes to EA FC 26 Ultimate Team, coins are king. The currency is used to buy packs and players from the transfer market to help improve your team. While you’ll earn some coins gradually as you play games, other methods can drastically improve the rate at which you earn them, meaning you can upgrade your team faster with better players. In this guide, I’ll explain everything you need to know on how to get coins fast in EA FC 26 Ultimate Team.

How to Get Coins Fast in EA FC 26 Ultimate Team

There are a handful of different ways you can rack up coins quicker than what you earn by playing a game in Rivals or Squad Battles, and they don’t all necessarily rely on skill. I’ve listed these as a quick bullet point list below, and explained each one in more detail further down this page.

  • Flipping Players on the Transfer Market
  • Selling Consumable Items
  • Bronze Pack Method
  • Rack Up Easy Squad Battles Rewards
  • Complete Tradeable SBCs
  • Buy Packs with EA Sports FC Points

Flipping Players

A fairly simple method of earning coins, but an often overlooked one because it requires spending a fair bit of time in the menus, rather than playing matches. All you need to do is look for player cards on the transfer market that have been listed at the lowest buy now price and buy them. The best options for these are rare gold players or players with a high rating, but who don’t really suit the meta this year. These become ‘SBC fodder,’ and players will often pay more than they need to just to get the SBC finished quicker.

With these players purchased, immediately relist them on the transfer market with a ‘Buy Now’ price that’s around the average, or a little bit more than what you paid for them. While an extra 50–100 coins from one player isn’t going to do much, amplifying this 100 times can net you an easy 10,000 Coins — more than most players will likely get from Division Rivals or Squad Battles weekly rewards!

Selling Consumable Items

There are a huge number of players who really want a certain stadium, kit, club badge, tifo, or ball for their Ultimate Team. While their prices naturally drop throughout the year as the market gets flooded with them, initially, there’s some easy money to be made by just listing any that you’re not using. It’s easy for these to be forgotten about and rack up once you start opening packs, so put them to work before it’s too late.

If you’re coming into Ultimate Team a little late into EA FC 26’s life cycle, you can always opt to quick sell them, but this won’t get you anywhere near as much as if you take the time to figure out the average price and either match or undercut them on the transfer market.

Complete Tradeable SBCs

Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) are one of the more enjoyable ways to earn coins. They’re essentially puzzles that require you to submit a team of players that meet set requirements. Complete the puzzle and you’ll be given rewards. In recent years, however, EA has opted to change the majority of SBC rewards to Untradeable versions. While you can sometimes get lucky and get a great player in an Untradeable Pack, if you get one that doesn’t fit into your team, then you’re only left with the option of submitting them in another SBC where a higher rating is required and trying your luck again.

As such, if you want to grind out coins from SBCs, your best bet is to focus on ones like the Marquee Matchups, which offer tradeable rewards. The packs are varied, but I’ve had some really valuable pulls like Virgil van Dijk who is currently selling for around 190,000 Coins. Keep in mind, however, there’s no guarantee of your rewards from packs, and the odds are largely stacked against you, so you’ll need a bit of luck to benefit.

Bronze Pack Method

The Bronze Pack method has been a staple of Ultimate Team for years. Essentially, you pay the mere 750 Coins for a Premium Bronze Pack, and then sell the items inside. While some players won’t go for much and will probably need to be quick sold (which will make back the majority of the Coins you spent on the pack), you can get lucky with some rare bronze players, or some bronze managers that are in demand. Sometimes, a manager can go for over 1,000 Coins or potentially even more.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t as lucrative as it’s been in previous years, but EA sometimes releases SBCs that require specific players from less common nations and leagues that bronze players typically fit, skyrocketing their price for a short period of time. As such, it’s always worth keeping a few players with more unusual nations or leagues that you get from packs in the hopes you can make a huge return further down the line.

Squad Battles Rewards

If I’m being honest, Squad Battles is incredibly dull. Playing against the AI isn’t the most enjoyable thing in the world, especially if you’re not trying to challenge yourself with difficulty to grind out ‘points’ to increase your rank and improve your rewards for the week. The trick here is to play on the highest difficulty where you can consistently and comfortably win 5-0. This rewards you with the maximum amount of points for playing on that difficulty. The higher the difficulty, the more points you’ll earn, but start conceding goals or fail to win, and the points earned will plummet.

Squad Battles rewards release every Sunday, and by playing all the games available in the mode each week, you can easily net yourself some tradeable packs, as well as about 10,000 Coins. It’s not fun work, but it makes for easy coins every week. Carve out an hour or so every evening and you can easily complete all of the Squad Battles matches and give yourself a consistent stream of decent income. You could even invest this money into buying players for SBCs with high requirements to get a player that perfectly fits your team, or offers a very valuable, tradeable pack that could net you even more Coins.

Buy Packs with EA Sports FC Points

It’s a bit of a cheat method, but if you’re impatient and just want to rack up a ton of coins, the easiest way to do it is to just use your hard-earned cash to buy EA Sports FC Points. These can then be used to buy packs from the Store in EA FC 26 Ultimate Team. However, keep in mind, this is still a gamble. You’re essentially relying on pack luck here to net you a decent return on your cash investment. Buying the more expensive ‘Promo Packs’ will typically give you a better chance of earning better cards, which can be sold for more on the Transfer Market, but there are no guarantees.

If you bought the Ultimate Edition, you’ll get EA Sports FC points for free, so these can give you a head start when it comes to your Coins balance.

You can check the probability of getting certain ‘levels’ of player cards by viewing the ‘Pack Probability’ option when you’ve got a pack selected in the store.
